Housing that provides long term homes for adults with Intellectual/Developmental disabilities.

Individualized Residential Alternative (IRA)

Small residences (3 to 5 individuals) scattered throughout the community which provide staff support in residential habilitation designed to encourage skill development, community integration and independence of children and adults.

  • Support Services Provided:

Self administration of medication, socialization, communication, functional skills, self advocacy, behavior skills, community integration, motor skills, skill development for vocational or educational activities, recreation/leisure activities.

  • Eligibility:

Diagnosis of a developmental disability prior to age twenty-two, able to evacuate a residence.

  • Payment:

Medicaid and/or SSI, SSD, Private pay
